Concertina Wires! Don't u dare to even think of climbing over the gates.

hmmm... i really want to express my feeling here. i have been refraining myself from continuing with my craftworks til the end of Alpha season, because there were many times i was too drawn into my work that i find it hard to set aside time to reflect upon myself to seek God daily. However, i thank God for giving me this chance to re-deploy me to this area that i can give all of my skills in me - DECO Team. i was really excited when i was first told of the re-deployment from ADMIN Team to DECO for the camp production. This familiar area of craft has allowed me to be used by God to minister to the people around.
My experience this time: i really admire my own DECO team for the support and determination they had put forth throughout the Alpha sessions, not only coming out with brilliant ideas, but also painstakingly piece up each and every of the props and deco items. This really
encourages me a lot even before i was deployed to DECO. I want to thank the volunteers as well, taking time off to come down and help with the cutting of cardboards into the prison bars. Having involving in this big scale deco, God has made me see
the importance and joy of serving together, in a
group, where we help one and other. Frankly speaking, in the past i would prefer to hold on tightly to the task given to me, always like to do things on my own, choosing to believe that only i myself can achieve the standard i have in mind. However, this involvement in major production has helped me see
the value of teamwork to accomplish greater things, without getting help from people, i guess i would have many nightmares of me being tao-pok by the tonnes of cardboard and clear tapes... hee!

Doing the 'silent' job has allowed me to see
the correct attitude of service to God, that these small small things add up to form the big picture. The beauty of Deco - to turn the place into a totally different one with the intended atmosphere. Yeah!
