This is my 7th time coming to P. Ubin....i must say this is a very good place for adventure....Bumboats operate from the jetty near Changi Village from as early as 6am until at least 8pm. The ride takes ten minutes and costs $2 per person (extra $2 if you are bringing your own bicycle..) Bumboat set off when there is 12 passengers.

Reach le! Very fast. Still remember during one of my bumboat trip to Ubin i saw a full circle of rainbow in the sky....realli nice!!!

Suntan, sunblock lotion out! Then we rent a bicycle and start our journey to the beach....

TIPS: Go rent the bicycles from the last shop. Just beside the coconut shop. Still got emergency service. Call them and a white van will send you a new bicycle to your current location....
We managed to link up at Mamam beach after a few break contact drills. Stopped there and relax for a while. Chit chat lah....sea breeze lah...
QUESTION: What is the fence at the beach use for?

One of our brothers got injured when he crashed into a tree, with a bit scratch.

Here comes my homemade first aid kit! I always bring to outfield to cure my trainees...cos u know, sometimes the medic will just say: "i think have to send to medical centre." Still remember the first time i use my first aid kit is for myself- SELF-AID.

We went to the prawn farm and took a video clip on our visit, Live Prawns jumping around in front of you...$20/kg!
End of the trip we sat down near the jetty and reward ourselves with a sweet coconut each. Buy 7 get 1 free. So song!
Then we made our way back to Changi jetty.

Although this trip was not as tiring as those that i had been thru, there was more interaction between each of us as we really took care of each other on the way, slow down if necessary...
Next i went to my friend's house in tampines to take a shower at 1830hrs before attending a performance at national library-drama centre. Everything went find at my friend's house, i showered , i smell good, look good ,feel good. Then as i made my way to the bus stop...in hope to reach bugis by 1930.

Guess what?

I'VE FOUND THAT MY PANTS ZIP SPOIL! AAArrrGGhHHhh!!!!!!!!!!MA!!!

On the bus to tampines Interchange, i pulled my shirt to the front to block. After i reached i hurried to tampines mall to buy a pants. First shop i went is GIORDANO, i found a pants quite nice one, but the smallest size is 32. But my waist is merely 26. Slim right>? But that's not the point. I really need to get a pants and hurry to bugis. Next i went is U2, i got a bermudas size 28, try it on in the fitting room, well done ! shiok! so i immediately went out to pay with the bermudas on and cut away the price tags of cos. haha...

This incident is quite scary one. Trust me. You will ask God: " why me? "
Guess you don't want this to happen to yourself.

I decided to invite my close friend ,code name :x-box to be my princess for the night. She also brought a friend, code name :wu xiang fried prawn cracker to pair up with my army friend, code name: S.H.E.

Before that day, i washed the white nissan horse carriage and pumped full tank petrol. Ensuring all parts will go well.

On that day, i took over the white nissan horse carriage from my dad and fetched Prince"S.H.E" from jurong east mrt and we made our way to tampines mall to collect flowers. The TM carpark is really steep! dunno why the parking is free when we came out....so blessed. Then we hit TPE to punggol road, sengkang, rivervale st to fetch Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" from her Palace at 1630. Then we headed to upper serangoon road to CTE (City) to AYE (Jurong), exit South Buona Vista Road to Science Park Drive to fetch Princess"x-box" after work at 6pm. Never did i know that it took us only 1/2hr to reach science park from sengkang. So sorry to let Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" come out so early and wait in the carriage for 1 hr from 5-6pm....sorry for the wait cos i am just afraid of jams and holans that will keep Princess"x-box" waiting...but lucky i got Breadtalk Green Tea Garden cake to keep her occupied. During the wait, we intro each other to know each other better because it was the first time me and Prince"S.H.E" met Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" . And the moment i started to play stef sun's cd, Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" said she dun really like her song...but i think both me and Princess"x-box" are quite impressed by her vocal, so...okok next time i will play JJ Lin's song ok... After Princess"x-box" came out of her workplace, we went straight to the LT.

The stageplay was really great, both the storyline and vocalists were fantastic.

http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~huangjin/Emerge2006/ Got photos and video...

After the stageplay, we went to Jackson's house (a 24-hr BIG kopitiam at the corner at Macpherson which sells good food) to have our late dinner at 1015pm. Our Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" really eats alot! We are all impressed by her ability to finish so many wu xiang fried prawn cracker. (anyway tat's how her code name came about)

After the dinner, i drove both Princess"x-box" n Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" to Pasir Ris park to celebrate one of their royal friends' birthday. On the way there, along PIE, i missed a turn and all of us ended up in our dear CHANGI AIRPORT! I was like AHHHHHH! On the road writes TERMINAL 1, TERMINAL 2, BUDGET TERMINAL... i was both desperately and eagerly finding a U-turn. It seems like there was no way but to be forced to approach the "Tower-in-the-middle-of-the-Road" thingy.....After making a U-turn, we finally got into a carpark near Pasir Ris Park...As i was driving the Horse Carraige around the carpark to find a suitable place to let both princesses to alight, Queen"x-box" called to find out whether her daughter is in safe hands and just as Princess"x-box" says that she has reached the park safe and sound, all of prince and princesses in my carriage shouted: AHHHH!....heee..soooorryyy.......its because i suddenly hit the brake pedals to slow down immediately for a hump.... Suddenly the clock sounded! Dang! Dang! x 12. It's 12 in the morning, both the princesses bid farewell and went to find their royal friends...Everything came to an end.

Drivers: I warn you that those humps in the carpark there, are painted black, BLACK with no yellow strips hoh! Beware...dun be like me giving all my dear Prince"S.H.E" and both Princesses a BIG heart attack just as they are about to reach their destination.... so Paiseh...

When i finally parked my Horse Carraige downstairs my Palace in JURONG, i closed my eyes for a moment. Flash back of the moments: 2 weeks ago how i pieced up a map covering the CTE, PIE, AYE, TPE, route recce, advance preparation, and the whole events that happened in the evening.

All in all, i really thank myself for accomplishing this mission. This Fairy Tale has allowed me to navigate in the area of sengkang, tampines, pasir ris, CTE, AYE , PIE, TPE. Thank you for the chance to know a new friend, Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" , and glad to know that both Princess"x-box" n Princess"wu xiang fried prawn cracker" have enjoyed the fairy tale evening. Happy to see such a close friendship between them. Really Hope there will be more chance to meet up again in the future.

Now i want to speak to my instructors: All the 3 of you have shown me the energy filled spirit. I hope this course has allowed you guys to taste the training aspects of men and this will be a value-added to your NS life. I am glad to have you guys working with me throughout this three months. I believe the 3 of you are the cream of the crop for your 11th ASLC cohort. Thank You!

Wow...i must say the service at this NUS Open house is superb! Ver well organised and all aspects are looked into, makes you feel welcomed, at home. NUS here i come! lots of goodies to collect, plus some nice brochures, talks, and very helpful staffs to clear your doubts on the spot.
Well guided tour around the campus. and what's more important>?

ice desserts at 70cents? OMG! that's damn cheap! ah! i think i will always end my meal with a dessert.

Food aside.
After hearing lots of talks and prof guidance, i found myself interested in life science and also food science. End of the day, i would like to work in a interactive position rather than in lab research. But who knows, i might change my thinking some day, as i get older...i would still prefer to keep myself open at this moment and listen to more opinions.

It was at Safti Live Firing Area that we saw this wow wild boar. Trainees ran out fron the canopy shouting "wild boar wild boar". Must be them who did'nt keep the ration properly. This is the first time i saw a wild boar on the main land. this one without the horns looked cute and harmless. Wanna eat him? Take a bumboat to P. Ubin for a cycling trip. End of the day, reward yourself with a coconut juice plus a HOTPLATE WILD BOAR MEAT!!!
